Terms of Service

Last updated 31 May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Quivo mobile application ("Quivo", the "App"). By downloading or using Quivo you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Quivo. By using the App you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Quivo for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the App Store's standard licensed-application terms.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the audio you record and the notes you create ("Your Content"). You grant Quivo the limited license necessary to host, transcribe, process, organize, and display Your Content to provide the App's features, including sending it to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to record and submit it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Quivo to: record people without any consent required by law; upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems; or use the App in violation of any applicable law.

5. AI & transcription accuracy

Quivo uses automated speech-to-text and AI systems to transcribe and organize your notes. These features are provided on a best-effort basis and may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or mis-categorized results. Do not rely on Quivo as the sole record for critical, legal, medical, or financial information. You are responsible for verifying anything important.

6. Subscriptions & billing

Quivo may offer auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock paid features. The price and billing period are shown in the App at the point of purchase. Key terms:

7. Service availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. The App depends on third-party services and may experience downtime. We are not liable for interruptions or data loss caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

8. Disclaimers

Quivo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transcriptions will be accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quivo and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for Quivo in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Quivo at any time and request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the App unlawfully.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer rights you have under your local law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Quivo after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
